Text messages are the highest-converting way to ask for a review — they get opened almost every time and answered in minutes. The trick is keeping them short, personal, and one tap away from the review box. Here are 25 templates you can copy, drop your review link into, and send today.
Ground rules for review request texts
Keep it to one or two sentences — long texts get ignored.
Use the customer’s first name and your business name.
Include a direct link, never “search for us.”
Send within a few hours of finishing, while the experience is fresh.
Only text customers who agreed to be contacted (stay TCPA-compliant).

Don’t send these one at a time forever
Templates work, but copy-pasting them for every customer doesn’t scale. Tailwind sends the right message to each customer automatically at the perfect moment — and follows up for you. See automated review requests, and pair your texts with a QR code for in-person asks.
