Generate a review request in your tone for SMS, email or WhatsApp — with your Google link, merge tags and the right compliance line.

Free — no signup. Nothing you enter is stored. The consent line and “ask everyone equally” rule keep your requests compliant.
Three things decide whether a request turns into a review: timing, channel and friction. Ask at the moment satisfaction peaks — right after the job, visit or order — not days later. Use the channel your customer already reads: for most local businesses that’s a text. And remove every extra step: one short message with a direct link to your review page beats a polite paragraph that makes people hunt for where to leave feedback. Consistency matters more than volume: asking every customer a little, every day, builds a steadier, more trustworthy profile than an occasional big push.
SMS is read within minutes and gets the highest response, which is why it’s the default here — but it’s billed per segment, so length and encoding matter (see below). Email costs nothing to send and lets you add context, useful for higher-consideration services. WhatsApp fits businesses that already message customers there and want a more personal touch. The generator adapts the length and format to whichever you choose, and for SMS it shows the live segment count as you edit.
A plain-Latin (GSM-7) message fits 160 characters per SMS segment. But a single Polish character — ę, ż, ć — forces the whole message into UCS-2 encoding, where the limit drops to 70. The same message that was one segment in English becomes two in Polish, doubling the send cost. For a salon sending a thousand requests a month, that’s half the SMS bill. The tool flags this and offers a one-click strip of diacritics when you want to keep a message to one segment.
Two rule sets apply. First, messaging law: in the US, review requests to existing customers are transactional but must carry an opt-out (Reply STOP) under TCPA; in the EU and Poland you rely on GDPR/RODO with an easy way to unsubscribe. The tool appends the right consent line for your jurisdiction. Second, Google’s review policy: never offer a reward, never ask for a specific star rating, and never ask only the customers you expect to be happy — that last one is “review gating” and it’s prohibited. Every message this tool writes asks for an honest review from everyone, the same way. If you want to make asking automatic, Tailwind’s automated review requests send the ask after every job. Need the link to include? Build it with the Google review link generator.
Copy any of these and swap the merge tags, or generate tailored variants above. Keep {{review_link}} pointing at your public review page for every customer.
Tailwind texts and emails the right request the moment a job is done, follows up once, and never asks the same customer twice.
